Stabiliseringspolitik

De penning- och finanspolitiska åtgärder som vidtas för att påverka den totala efterfrågan i ekonomin. Syftet med stabiliseringspolitik är att dämpa konjunktursvängningar och därmed samtidigt upprätthålla stabil inflation och låg arbetslöshet.

Stabilization policy

Consists of the monetary- and fiscal-policy measures taken to affect the aggregate demand in the economy. The purpose is to dampen the cyclical fluctuations of the economy, thus simultaneously maintaining stable rates of inflation and low unemployment.
